Deborah Lessen

Deborah Lessen is an acknowledged leader in the Pilates field. A former professional dancer and teacher, she was trained to teach the Pilates method by Joseph Pilates’ first protégé, Carola Trier. In 1983, she founded the Greene Street Studio, which nurtures a broad base of clients in the Pilates method for general conditioning, performance specific training, injury prevention and rehabilitation. Ms. Lessen is a founding member of the Pilates Method Alliance and currently serves on the Board of Directors.
Dav Cohen

Dav has a Master of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Miami. He has taught Pilates in a variety of fitness and rehabilitation settings, including Orthopaedic Physiotherapy clinics, fitness centers and the Miami City Ballet. He has been a Principal Educator with Polestar Education since 1997 and was Director of Educator Development for Australia and New Zealand and is now the Curriculum Director of Polestar Pilates USA.
Dawnna Wayburne

Dawnna Wayburne was trained in Ballet, one of the most technical and demanding of physical disciplines. Dawnna is a Registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dancing as well as an Associate Diploma holder of the Imperial Society of Dancing. Since 1973 Dawnna has trained intensively in the Pilates field and worked with Master teachers of universal repute some of whom worked with Joseph Pilates himself. Dawnna was the first to set up a combined Gyrotonic® / Pilates exercise studio in Asia.
Dawnna is an Education Director of Polestar Pilates Asia Inc.,the Asian Licensee and a Principal Educator for the Polestar Pilates® Education LLC, based in Miami Florida, world leaders in the field of Pilates instructor training for fitness and rehabilitation professionals. She spends a considerable part of her time conducting in-house and external instructor training programmes in Hong Kong and other cities in Asia.
Daniel Dittmar

Daniel is a qualified Exercise Physiologist and has an Applied Science degree in Human Movement Studies from QUT Australia. He was first introduced to Pilates in 1998 where he worked in a fitness and rehabilitation centre in Australia where he came to realise the amazing impact Pilates can have on human movement. He spent the next three years working as an Exercise Physiologist and Pilates instructor in world famous health resort Chiva-Som. Since then he has lived in Singapore and now owns his owns and runs his own studio Focus Pilates; which is also a host site for Polestar Pilates education. Apart from his extensive experience in Pilates, personal training and corporate health he has also lectured for a Diploma in Sport & Exercise and personal trainer courses.
