Focus on giving back to the community
Last published DD MMM YYYY This is for page description or overview where applicable.In Focus Pilates efforts to assist those less fortunate as well as contribute to saving the environment, we have decided to donate a percentage of profits on behalf of the clients and instructors to a number of charities around the world. Below are the organizations that we were able to contribute to. As we continue to grow our aim is to contribute more and more every year:
253 native trees were planted in 2007 (one for each active Focus client!) and that will help to off set 42.11 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
Through Little Sisters Fund in 2007, we have been able to support a years worth of schooling for two young Nepalese girls. Educating young women in Nepal will help generations to come as their children will benefit from their education.
Though CHI Heng Foundation in HK we have contributed towards providing assistance to AIDS orphans in China.
Through a community donation organised by Hotel Shinta Mani. Focus has paid for the entire hospitality education for Ly Chanty, a young girl in Cambodia who's family has lived in poverty since her father passed away when she was 2. This was made possible. We also highly recommend the small luxury hotel Hotel De La Paix that also supports the same program.
